Today, the company’s remit includes providing a ‘one-stop-shop’ for the automotive industry with its extensive range of transfer, progression and manual presses producing everything from the simplest pressings to the most complex assemblies, manufacturing pressed panels on behalf of one of the world’s leading producers of metal waste containers for use in a unique new kind of recycling container that’s designed to stack more efficiently and working in close collaboration with the world’s leading electricity meter and "SMART" metering solutions provider Landis+Gyr in the design and manufacture of a whole new generation of "SMART" meters which will enable UK homeowners to monitor and manage energy consumption for the first time ever with a target of saving consumers a staggering £20 million on their energy bills by 2020.
Not only that but Covpress ‘Ingeneering’, as the word implies, is also extremely proactive in identifying opportunities to make significant improvements to engineering solutions in entirely new and emerging market sectors, importing and installing new facilities where required, such as the new powder coat shop used in the manufacture of painted Satellite Dish Sets.
